8 Steps To A New Beginning

"For Salvation Is Of The Jews"
(John 4:22)

1. To Acknowledge...

2. To Repent...

3. To Confess...

4. To Forsake...

5. To Believe...

6. To Receive...

7. To Pray a Sinners Prayer...

8. To Believe the Word of G-d...

Step 1.

You must acknowledge what G-d's Word (Scriptures) tells you, that being you are a sinner.

"For ALL have SINNED and fall short of the glory of G-d." (Romans 3:23)
"G-d, be merciful to me, a sinner!" (Luke 18:13)

Step 2.

You must see the awfulness of your sins no matter how little or big they are, and then repent of them to the best you know how.

"Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)
"Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the L-rd." (Acts 3:19)

Step 3.

You must confess your SINS, not to men, but to G-d. However, you must confess the L-RD G-d, before men. Do not be a closet Believe!

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
"For with the heart man Believes, resulting in righteousness (right standing), and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:10)
"Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in Heaven. But whosoever shall DENY Me before MEN, him will I also DENY before My Father which is in Heaven." (Matthew 10:32-33)

Step 4.

Sorrow for sin is not enough in itself. We must want to be done with it once and for all. This is first done in the heart, and then by forsaking our old ways with the help of the Holy Spirit.

"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the L-rd, and He will have compassion on him; and to our G-d... For He will abundantly pardon." (Isaiah 55:7)

Step 5.

Believe in the FINISHED work of Messiah on the Cross.

"For G-d so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever Believes in Him should not perish, but have Eternal Life."(John 3:16)
"If you confess with your mouth Yeshua as L-rd, and Believe in your heart that G-d raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Step 6.

Messiah must be received PERSONALLY into the heart by faith, if the experience of the New Birth (being born from above) is to be yours.

"He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But to as many as received Him, to them, He gave the right to become Children of G-d, even to those who Believe in His Name." (John 1:11-12)

Step 7.

If you wish to accept Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah into your heart and life, it will help you to pray the following prayer or a prayer like this one:

"O L-RD my G-d, I thank you that you love me so much, and gave Your Son for me. I ask if Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah, Your Son, then I want Him to come into my life. I know I have sinned and committed deeds unpleasing to you. I ask you now to forgive me of ALL these sins and to cleanse my life. Help me to follow You and Your teachings. Protect me from Satan and all evil of this world. Teach me to put You first in all my thoughts and actions. Help me to love my fellow man as You have loved me. Father, show me step by step the plan You made for my life, and let Your will be done in my life. L-rd Yeshua let my roots grow deep into You. I give myself and my life to You, give me a New Beginning. Holy Spirit, help me win others to Messiah Yeshua for Your glory - Amen."

You can pray this prayer or your own. Just be sure you pray with a tender heart toward G-d, who hears that kind of spirit.

Step 8.

Now comes the WORK of G-d, and that work is to believe that you are Forgiven just as the Word of G-d tell you so. Do not fall into the Guilt Trap. Here's what the Guilt Trap is: You have received Yeshua Messiah, but you still fall into old sin patterns, so you say to yourself, "I can't to saved." This is not true, you must remember you do not live by feelings, but by every Word of the Living G-d. G-d's Word tells you, you are saved, so believe it! If you fall and I'm sure you will, because we all do, just ask G-d to forgive you and go on in Faith. Remember Step 3. Confess! Pray the prayer that the L-rd gave to His Disciples to pray every day (Matthew 6:9-13), it can help you by giving you a clean conscience. You see, Satan likes to come to all of us, telling us we are not saved because of the things we do or have done in the past. This is Satan's MO, don't believe him, remember what the Word tells us about him.
"...Satan was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of all lies. And because I tell you the Truth, you believe Me not." (John 8:44b -45)

"Then said they ( the Jewish people) to Yeshua, What shall we do, that we might work the WORKS of G-d? Yeshua answered and said to them, This is the WORK of G-d, that you BELIEVE on Him whom He has sent." (John 6:28-29)

If you confess your faith in Yeshua Messiah, and want to share your
JOY with someone, please share it with us. We will keep you in prayer and believe G-d for your roots to be planted deep into the Word of G-d.
