The Rest of our Home...

Love that color!!! When George saw the Arabian Red walls that Jeff picked out and painted, he said: "This make's the place look real classy now." I had to agree with him! What a color!

I also added lots of gold leaf things throughout the home. It adds to the richness I wanted in this new home... You know how I love gold leaf Mom, I see it as a reflection of the Glory of the Lord. Heaven has lots of it, so much so that God uses it for pavement...

There is Italian tile throughout the home... the only rooms with carpeting are our living room and bedrooms. This tile was the only thing we kept that was original in this home. It's an off white color with a hint of green and a kind of rusty color in it, it's very nice. Earth colors for most of the walls (Clay Beige), and the carpet color is called: Crossroads (and it's a beige mix), very easy on the eye, and easy to keep clean.

The colors I picked from right to left are: Oak Case Gold, Sweet Annie Green, Sunkissed Vine Green, and then Jeff picked out a color called: Arabian Red, which really looks like "Sun Dried Tomato's" on the walls. All wonderful looking on our textured walls.

Now the picture below is a copy of a much large one that will hang in our living room when it comes in a week or so. The one we bought is a large one, 55" long x 38" high, and the colors in the Tuscan Hills are very vivid, the print is entitled:
Distant Siena.

The roofs in the picture are the same color as my walls, and it all goes well together and the look, well it's very soft and restful looking.

A chair will go under the picture, it comes in 4 weeks...

You know God loves color, if just look at His Rainbow you can see that, so I am planning on adding more colors in time...

In our hall there is a small desk that I've had for many years, also new bookcase... In this bookcase I keep auto teaching tapes, along with some VHS teaching tapes that I use for the ministry. I have lots of good stuff...

This is the ministry office now, it's the heart of Mayim Hayim Ministries.
You know how I love to read and study God's Word, so He has blessed me over the years with lots of good books and Bibles to use, so now I daily come in here and read and study. All these books are my real treasure's... all these Gems I just had to take with me. I could not bear to part with many of them. But I did give about 5 large boxes of books and tapes to the Goodwill. My hope was to bless someone with them.

No joke Mom, I had boxes and boxes of books and bibles and tapes to pack and take with me. For days Regi and I packed these up...then we had to cart them all over here an unpacked them put them away. It took me a month to do. I could never have done this without her help. She is a faithful friend, the very best and one I can always count on. :-) George and I were blessed by all that she did for us.

By the he way, that table and chairs in the office is the one I sat at when God took me to heaven in 90's Mom...it's really special to me, I just had to keep it. It works out well in the office.

The print hanging on the wall is by Messianic artist Rabbi Michael Washer. This signed print hung in our bedroom if you remember since 1987 when I bought it from him. Now that it's in my office, everyone can enjoy it. It's entitled: "I AM"!

This is George's new room... His breathing machine helps him sleep so much better now. Since he's using it, he feels better all during the day. He was falling asleep behind the wheel of his truck driving home from work before. But now, he feels rested at the end of the day. Sleep Appnea, which George has, is nothing to fool around with his doctor said. It can kill you if you do not do something about it, and many people have their lives cut short because they stop breathing while they are sleeping during the night!

Our new guess room is a fair size, and has a queen size bed in it now. In the other home you slept on a full size bed. It's my catch all room...everyone has one. I have lots of boxes in the closet I still have to put away, I just do not know where I want to put them... But I'm not in a rush this time, it will get done by the end of fall. It's to hot to do anything but say put, or swim, which I try and do in the evenings a few nights a week. We are not ready for any company just yet, but will be early next year...! Praying you'll come with Camille to see it.

The bathroom on the left is the main bathroom with bathtub. I use this one... and the picture on the right is our master bathroom with it's oversized shower that Klaus made for us.

My son in-law Klaus Meyer did all the tile and granite work for us, what an artist he is Mom wait till you inside it. I am so grateful to for him. George put in all the cabinets throughout the home, he had never done this kind of work before he tried this. He did a masterful job as you can see...

The master bedroom is a very nice size, wider then the one in my other home... I hung my friend Ruth Sundgren's painting in my bedroom this time. Ruth painted it for me some years ago, and if you remember it hung in my living room on Gardenia. Now it's in-between my 43 year old dresser, and there I can enjoy looking at it more often. I think it looks good there, what do you think Mom?

I still must do something with the wall behind my bed. I'm going to add some painted wood columns and color to the wall this winter. The picture hanging over my bed is new. It's a picture of Yeshua sitting overlooking the city of Jerusalem, and Mom there is a great story about how I got this picture.

I wanted this picture for my bedroom but none were available in the Christian bookstore. So I put it to the back of my mind for a few months, but the Holy Spirit would not let me forget about it.

Then at Thanksgiving time (2004), I went into the same Christian bookstore and asked if it could be ordered now? She told me no, they do not even have it in the catalog any longer. I was bummed because I wanted that picture to grace my bedroom wall really bad... Then 2 days later I had went back to the same bookstore for a CD I wanted. This time there was another lady working in the store. So I asked her about that picture and asked about how I might get a copy?

She said me, "You no, I think I've seen that picture in the backroom in a wide gold frame." Mom, my heart leaped out of my chest, and I got so excited. She went right into the backroom and came out with it in hand, now I was jumped with joy!!!

I said I'll take it, but then she informed me it would be on sale the day after Thanksgiving because all there ART would be half price that day. I told her no way, I did not want it to be sold out from under me, so I would take it now at full price. But she told me she would hide it in the backroom for me and no one would get it but me. So I was at the store at 6:45 waiting for the store to open at 7 AM, the day after Thanksgiving and I got it for only $95.00 dollars.

So that's how I got it picture. The lady also told me afterwards, she had no idea where the picture came from because it had not been in the backroom the day before she had come to work. She took notice of it that morning I came in because it was sticking out from behind something she needed, so she new it was there. But I knew where it came from Mom, God had sent an angel to place one in the store just for me. God is soooooo good!!!

Here is a better look at the picture over my bed...

Painting by Greg Olsen

Well that's it Mom, and as you can see God has been very good to us.
We are both very grateful to Him for all that He has given us. We feel super BLESSED!!!

I am very grateful for George for all of his hard work. It took him 9 months of 14 hours days to make this place a Palace of Peace for me, but he did a great job!

We also want to thank all of our friends who will see this page, you know who you are, you all gave of your time and talents to help us. We love you for your goodness.

And last, but not least, we want to thank John and Anne for giving us this home to live in for free for the rest of our days. How blessed can any two parents be!!!
