Why I believe in the Triunity of God and that Yeshua (Jesus) is God!

A Case for Daniel 7:13-14

"In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a Son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into His presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed."

These are powerful words Daniel wrote. Dan-i-el means "God is my Judge," and in this night vision he was shown that all peoples, nations and men of every language would worshiped one like a Son of man. The King James Version of the Bible states that they "served him." The word in the Hebrew is really worshiped (pelach). They (all peoples) worshiped the one like the Son of Man. And this is Yeshua the Messiah of Israel! So not only is the Ancient of Days on His throne getting worship, we see that there is someone else that's separate and distinct from the Ancient of Days, and according to these two verses that is likewise worshiped. Therefore, there must be plurality in the Godhead. This has to be, because only the True and the Living God of the Bible can be worshiped. To worship anything or anyone else would be idolatry according to the Torah i.e., the Law of God.

C
ould this be why Daniel was grieved in his spirit and in his body? These visions in his head troubled him. Why? (Daniel 7:15-22) - I believe Daniel was troubled in his spirit and in his body because he was seeing someone other then the Ancient of Days receiving worship. He believed this was idolatry according to what he understood the Torah taught. But then the angel gave Daniel the interpretation, and he saw the saints of the most High taking the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever, and he knew that "God" (Elohim) was a Righteous Judge, and that He would do right!

Proved by Shemology -- The Gospel In Genesis Chapter 5

Many many years ago an Orthodox Rabbi studying his Scriptures was impressed to look at the names in the genealogy of Genesis chapter five. He took the ten names of the children of Adam and looked at the Hebrew root for each name, and what each name meant. To his amazement, God starting to speak into his heart by Spirit to put the names together like a puzzle. From these 10 names of Adams generations, the story goes, this Rabbi found what He believed was proof for the New Testament Jesus (Yeshua). This was hard for him to conceive at first, he was not a believer, he was a Jew. Yet it was right before his very eyes. Here are the 10 names and there meanings listed for you. I will state right here, you must know Biblical Hebrew to do this, and you must look at the root of each name. Even then there is still much controversy over the variant readings, and no wonder, the impact of this revelation can be earth shaking to the Jewish people, as it was for this Orthodox Rabbi.

The Name The Meaning
Adam Man
Seth Appointed
Enos Mortal
Kenan Sorrow
Mahalaleel The Blessed God
Jared To Descend
Enoch Teaching - Dedicating
Methuselah His Death Shall Bring
Lamech Despairing
Noah Rest

When this Orthodox Rabbi put the pieces together, he read this:

Man Appointed Mortal Sorrow, The Blessed God Shall Descend Teaching - Dedicating His Death Shall Bring Despairing Rest.

He read it over and over again till the voice inside him led him to add 4 little words.

Man is Appointed Mortal Sorrow, but The Blessed God Shall Descend Teaching and Dedicating His Death Shall Bring the Despairing Rest.

Four little words made it come alive to him. His mind was flooded by the words of the prophet Isaiah, in chapter 53 as well as other passages from the Psalms. As the story goes, tears welled up in his eyes as he read Isaiah 53 in Hebrew. To read Isaiah 53 in English, click here. It was not hard for him to believe God would "descend teaching," because God had done this with Moses on the Holy Mountain when LORD gave His Torah (Law). However, how could he believe the rest of it, he formed the words in his mind first: "dedicating God's death would bring the despairing of sorrowing mankind rest." This was a problem for him, yet he felt this was the true root meaning of the names. It took him one full year before he would open a New Testament (a Forbidden Book to the Jews), but when he did, he know the Messiah had come, and that Messiah was the Son of God, and indeed God the Son. It was another year before he told anyone about his find in Genesis (Bereishis), the first book of the Torah. He shared his find with other Orthodox Rabbi, but they did not want to hear him about such nonsense, he was a widower and had no family, so he left his country (Germany I believe it was), and came to America. It is here we lose track of him in New York City in the late 1800's. If you do not believe this is truth, check it out for yourself.

An Israeli language teacher Believes

A pastor friend I know used the names in Genesis chapter 5 on his friend, an Israeli language teacher that he was taking classes from. He gave him all the names and ask him to help him find the really means from the Hebrew roots. This pastor had been telling him about his Hebrew Messiah, Yeshua, but was getting no where with him. When this Israeli lined up all the names, the pastor told him to read it, and he did, and the rest is history. The eyes of this Israeli language teacher was inlighten to the Good News of Yeshua Messiah, and today he is a Believer in the Lord.

The Witness of the HEY in Genesis chapter 5

The Hebrew letter Hey is also the number 5, and the Biblical number of GRACE. It is also associated with the person of the Holy Spirit, and has a ancient meaning: to REVEAL. In the ancient picture language the letter Hey it is a window or lattice. The name of the letter Hey expresses revelation of "self" in the act of giving of "oneself" to another. This is just what we find in the Shemology hidden, but now revealed in Genesis chapter 5. "God coming down to die (giving of Himself) for sorrowing man." Even the very form of the letter Hey we are told by the Rabbis speak of Divinity. There are 3 Divine manifestations of the letter Hey you can see:

Essence - the horizontal line = Our Father in Heaven
Transcendent Light - the vertical line = Son our great high priest
Immanent Light - the unattached foot = The Holy Spirit in us

But the revelation does not stop there. The Jews also believe that the Hebrew letter Hey is revealed in its NAME and means: To be broken; to take seed; to behold i.e. revelation. And they say that the Divinity of the letter also reveals Divine revelation in the words "Behold" G-d (Isaiah 12:2). "Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He HAS BECOME my salvation." They say the Hey reveals the ultimate revelation; the Mashiach (Messiah). We agree, hear the words of the Good News of Luke 9:35 in the NNAS:

"Then a voice came out of the cloud, saying,
"This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!"

This is God speaking from Heaven. What is so cool about this revelation in the Gospel of Luke is that God was pointing to three Scriptures in the Hebrew Scriptures every Jew knew.

This is My Son - Psalm 2:7

"I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me,
Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee."

My Chosen One - Isaiah 43:10

"Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen:
that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he:
before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Listen to Him - Deuteronomy 18:18

"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren,
like unto thee (Moses), and will put My words in His mouth;
and He shall speak unto them all that I shall command Him.'
It shall come about that whoever
will not listen to My words
which He shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him."

Now what is so amazing about this witness (testimony), is that words spoken are from the Law, the Prophets, and the Psalms. The testimony is from the TaNaKh; the Hebrew Bible or the volume of the book. (Psalm 40:7 in the Christain and verse 8 in the Hebrew Bible). Yeshua after He rose from the dead meet two men on the road to Emmaus, here is what He told them:

"Then He said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Messiah to have suffered these things, and to enter into His glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself... And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Me. Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Messiah to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things." --Luke 24:25-27;44-48

I owe this revelation in Luke 9:35 from dear brother by the name of Dwight A. Pryor. He is one of the greatest Messianic Bible teachers I know. When I first heard this taught, I blew me away. And as I've studied it out for myself, I've noticed that the Voice in the cloud call out the books from the TaNaKh backwards. The Voice started quoting Scriptures from the Psalms, the Prophets and then the book of the Law. Why was my question? I believe it's because only God knows the end from the beginning.

"Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure:" --Isaiah 46:9-10

You'll never convince me that the words in the book of Daniel, or the hidden Shemology in Genesis chapter 5, and the witness of the Hebrew letter Hey (5), as well as the testimony of the Voice (the Father) from the cloud are all there by accident, it's just not kosher, no way! It's just like the Bible Codes stuff, they are really even if you do not believe its so...there is no such thing as "accident" with God, it is all in His plan and purpose.

In closing this section, I really wish I knew the name of this Orthodox Rabbis so I could give him full credit for the revelation Genesis chapter 5. It was more then 15 years ago I first heard this story about him, and what it imparted to me then, is still a super blessing to me now. If anyone knows who he was, please post me. Rev. Barbara Di Gilio

I would like to recommend Bible teacher Chuck Missler of Koinonia House to you on this same subject. Many years ago Chuck picked up on this Rabbis teaching and put his own understanding of it down in two books, as well as audio tape sets. You can buy them from him on-line. You can also read his article
A Hidden Message: The Gospel in Genesis on-line, its very good and he adds so much more than I have written about it here. Please take the time and read it before you go on to Rabbi Mike Short article in Section 5.
